What is the cancellation policy for spa treatments?

We request that you cancel your appointment at least 12 hours prior to your appointment. Otherwise we will charge you 90% of the booked treatment.

Are there special (day) spa packages for external guests?

Yes, you can use the Royal Spa even if you are not staying at our spa hotel in Baden-Baden. The price of our Day Spa full day package is €49 per person per day.

RUNNING AND WALKING

Running is nourishing for the soul. The harmonious rhythm of the movement boosts your ability to think, soothes pain and releases serotonin. Combine this positive experience with divine panoramic views of our region on gorgeous running and walking trails around Baden-Baden.

Along Oos brook – 4.3 km

Head straight from the hotel into Werderstrasse and follow it to Oos brook. Turn right there and, following Oos creek, head down Lichtentaler Allee, a street surrounded by meticulously curated parks and gardens. Walk by the spa gardens past a small waterfall and, halfway through, turn left and cross the bridge over Oos brook. The path back is on the left behind the buildings that line the brook. Turn left just before the large Protestant church tower, heading back towards the banks of the brook. Once you reach there, veer off the direct path after 150 m and walk over the small Bellevue Bridge to the right and through the park towards ‘Parkcafé’. Turn left there and keep walking straight ahead until you reach Bertholdbad pool, where you turn left into Bertholdstrasse. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and after 100 m take a right into Schillerstrasse – past ‘Hotel Brenners’. Walk by the church and media centre to the banks of the Oos brook and back through the small park belonging to ‘Hotel Atlantic’. You will see Maison Messmer Baden-Baden on the left once you get to the spa building.

Fremersberg circuit – 6.4 km

Set out by leaving the hotel and turning left down Werderstrasse – follow the posted directions on the street, up the hill towards ‘Rosengarten’. The route goes steadily upwards for 1,000 m until Moltkestrasse. About halfway you will follow the street around a U-turn so that you don’t start heading downwards again. Once you arrive on top, keep walking down Moltkestrasse. Turn left into Reutweg 300 m after the first building belonging to the SWR organisation. From this position you can enjoy a wondrous view of Baden-Baden and the Black Forest. Then it’ll be time to head back down the slope. Walk to the end of Reutweg and turn left into Fremersbergstrasse, going downhill. Leave Fremersbergstrasse after roughly 1 km and turn right into Quettigstrasse towards the restaurant ‘Molkenkur’ – your point of orientation for any additional walking circuits you may wish to embark on. Pass the restaurant and turn left after the big building belonging to the SWR organisation – now you go back up the hill. At the end of the street, turn left into Hermann-Sielcken-Strasse, where you turn left again onto the footpath after about 150 m. The path takes you through the forest and down a slope back to ‘Molkenkur’ restaurant. Here you can tack on another 1.6 km loop walk – turn left for this and start walking up the hill. To head back to the hotel, turn right into Quettigstrasse. When you reach the Fremersbergstrasse junction, turn right and follow Fremersbergstrasse down the hill. Turn left through the park after roughly 200 m and follow the sign to ‘Dorint Hotel’. Keep left, walking past Museum Frieder Burda until you reach the spa building. Take a left here and walk the final 100 m back to the hotel.

‘Geroldsauer Mühle’ Watershed route – 8 km

Head straight from the hotel into Werderstrasse and follow it to Oos brook. Turn right there and – following Oos brook – head down Lichtentaler Allee, a street surrounded by meticulously curated parks and gardens. After the second zebra crossing, your direction will drift further away from the Oos as you follow the pedestrian and bike path on the opposite side of the street straight past an idyllic, large meadow. Looking across the meadow, you can see the majestic hilly landscape of the Black Forest come into view. At Klosterplatz (‘convent square’), you will pass Lichtental abbey. Turn right towards Bühlerhöhe after 350 m. Follow the road and Grobbach brook for about 1.2 km until you reach ‘Diringers Mühle’, a hotel restaurant. The perfect place for a pit stop to refuel before turning around and making your way back the way you came.

In our spa our young guests up to 12 years are also welcome between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
In the morning and evening, the focus in the wellness area is on mindfulness, deceleration, relaxation and calm.
We kindly ask for your understanding, because we want all our guests to feel completely at home with us at Maison Messmer.

Can I visit the Spa even though I don't stay at the Hotel?

Yes, of course you can visit our Royal Spa as an extern guest. The price of our Day Spa Offer is €49 per person per day.

Is the access to the spa included in my room rate?

Yes, with every booking of our room und suites you get free access to our wellness area.
